Palatal Implant for Snoring and Mild Sleep Apnea

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • Your BMI is 30 or less (a measure of body weight relative to height)
  • Your tonsils are small (grade 2 or less)
  • Your tongue position is normal (Friedman Position I or II)
  • You snore due to palatal (soft palate) movement, or have mild-to-moderate sleep apnea with confirmed palatal collapse
  • You have not had previous throat surgery or upper airway radiation therapy
