- You are 18 years old or older
- You have had surgery to repair a blocked artery in your arm or leg due to plaque buildup (atherosclerosis)
- You are not pregnant or planning to become pregnant during the study
- You do not have active stomach ulcers

- You have not had a brain bleed in the recent past (or if you did, it was more than 1 year ago with no new complications)
