Who can take part

  • You are between 40 and 60 years old
  • You had your first stroke (ischemic or hemorrhagic) confirmed by CT or MRI scan, and it was recent (acute or early recovery phase)
  • Your arm weakness is mild to moderate, with some remaining strength in your shoulder and upper arm (at least 2/5 muscle strength)
  • You can understand and follow instructions reasonably well (no severe memory loss or language difficulty)
  • You do not have serious heart, liver, kidney, or cancer conditions
  • Your skin is intact with no sores, ulcers, or extreme sensitivity to touch or temperature
