Who can take part
- Age 18–75 with confirmed lupus diagnosis for at least 6 months
- Active, severe lupus (high disease activity score) despite previous treatment with steroids and at least two other lupus drugs
- Positive blood tests for lupus antibodies (ANA, anti-dsDNA, or anti-Smith)
- Stable doses of current lupus medications for at least 2–4 weeks before screening
- Healthy blood counts, liver, and kidney function; no active serious infections
- Willing to use effective birth control for at least one year after receiving the treatment
