Who can take part
- You have been diagnosed with GIST (gastrointestinal stromal tumor) confirmed by biopsy
- Your cancer has stopped working with or you couldn't tolerate imatinib, sunitinib, and regorafenib (three standard GIST drugs)
- You have at least one measurable tumor visible on imaging done within the last 28 days
- You are able to care for yourself with minimal help (ECOG score 0–1)
- You have not had severe allergic reactions to similar cancer drugs (tyrosine kinase inhibitors)
- Your diabetes (if you have it) is controlled, and you don't have an active infection needing treatment
