Who can take part
- You are a post-menopausal woman (no period for at least 12 months, not due to medication)
- You are between 50 and 79 years old
- You have mild to moderate high blood pressure (systolic 140–179 mmHg) and are either untreated or were on an ACE inhibitor or ARB that you can stop for 2 weeks
- Your BMI is between 18.5 and 34.9 (normal to overweight range)
- You have no current swelling in your legs or ankles from any cause
- Your liver, kidney, and heart function are normal or near-normal
