Who can take part
- You must be between 18 and 75 years old.
- Your body mass index (BMI) must be 24 or higher.
- You must have high blood pressure, either untreated or currently on medication.
- If you haven't taken blood pressure pills in 3 months, your systolic blood pressure at screening needs to be between 150 and 179.
- If you are on blood pressure pills, your systolic blood pressure must be at least 140 and less than 180 at screening, and after stopping the pills temporarily it must be between 150 and 179.
