Who can take part

  • Completed orthodontic treatment (braces) with good bite alignment at the end
  • Minimal crowding before treatment started (less than 6mm in upper and lower teeth)
  • Healthy gums with no deep pockets and good oral hygiene habits
  • Willing to wear retainers as instructed and attend all follow-up visits
  • No jaw joint (TMJ) problems or systemic diseases affecting bone growth
  • No antibiotics in the past 3 months or anti-inflammatory medications in the past month
