Comparing ultrasound measurements for heart hole assessment

Peri Membranous Ventricular Septal Defect

Part of Heart & circulation clinical trials.

This study compares two ways of measuring blood flow pressure across a hole in the heart (VSD) during surgery. The goal is to help doctors better understand and treat this common heart defect in young children.

Follow-up after hole-in-heart closure procedure

This trial monitors children who had a ventricular septal defect (VSD) closed with a device to see how they do over time. It checks if the closure stays effective and if there are any long-term issues.

Catheter closure of ventricular septal defects

This study gathers information on a procedure to close a specific type of heart hole using a device inserted through a catheter. It aims to evaluate how well this procedure works in different medical centers.
