Who can take part

  • You had a stroke at least 6 months ago with weakness on one side of your body
  • You are between 18 and 70 years old
  • You can follow simple instructions and have a clear mind (a brief thinking test will confirm this)
  • You can sit upright for at least 45 minutes at a time
  • Your finger and hand muscles still produce detectable electrical signals (the device needs to read these)
  • Your hand stiffness is mild to moderate, not severe
