Who can take part
- You are between 20 and 65 years old
- You had surgery on your thighbone or shinbone with a metal rod placed inside the bone
- Your doctor has cleared you for full weight-bearing and your fracture is healing well without major problems
- You speak and read English well enough to understand exercise instructions without help
- You do not have severe heart, breathing, or nerve conditions that would make exercise unsafe
- You do not have a second fracture on the other leg, an open fracture (bone broke through skin), or multiple trauma injuries
