Who can take part

  • You are carrying one baby (not twins or multiples)
  • Your baby is due at 37 weeks of pregnancy or later
  • You have a heart-rate tracing (CTG monitor strip) done within 90 minutes before delivery
  • Your baby's umbilical cord blood was tested for oxygen and acid levels right after birth
  • You are willing to sign a consent form (if joining the prospective/new enrollment part)
