Who can take part
- You must be a woman aged 18 to 75.
- Your breast cancer must be HER2-positive and advanced (spread or not removable by surgery).
- You must not have had any prior treatment for advanced cancer, except you may have had one line of hormone therapy.
- If you had treatment after surgery (adjuvant therapy), the cancer must have returned more than 12 months after finishing that treatment.
- You must be in good general health (able to do light activity) and have adequate organ function.
- You must not have had certain prior treatments or have certain heart, lung, or other conditions.
