Brain and Body Training After Shoulder Stabilization Surgery

This study tests whether combining cognitive (thinking) exercises with physical rehabilitation after anterior shoulder stabilization surgery helps patients recover better and return to activities faster. You'll do supervised rehabilitation sessions that may include mental challenges alongside physical therapy.

Who can take part

  • Age 18–45 years old
  • Had arthroscopic anterior shoulder stabilization surgery (Bankart repair, Latarjet, or remplissage) within the past month for a traumatic shoulder dislocation on one side only
  • Currently 10–28 days after surgery
  • Were physically active before your injury (Tegner Activity Scale score of 3 or higher)
  • No history of joint hypermobility syndrome, neurological conditions, or systemic diseases
  • No severe rotator cuff tears, previous shoulder surgery on the injured side, or shoulder problems on the opposite side in the past 6 months
