Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older
  • You can attend training sessions and follow up visits
  • You are scheduled for one of these surgeries: ACL repair, total knee replacement, total hip replacement, or hip arthroscopy for impingement
  • You do not have a history of stroke, Parkinson's disease, or other movement disorders
  • You do not have a cardiac pacemaker or similar implanted device
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is 35 or less
