Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older and have high cholesterol (hypercholesterolemia)
- You have been taking a statin at a steady dose for at least 4 weeks before screening
- Your fasting triglycerides (blood fat) are below 150 mg/dL on two separate screening tests
- Your LDL-C (bad cholesterol) level meets certain thresholds based on your risk category, confirmed on two screening tests
- You have not had a heart attack, stroke, or major heart surgery in the past 3 months
- You do not have uncontrolled diabetes, thyroid disease, severe liver disease, gallstones, or severe kidney disease
