New Liver Transplant Treatment to Reduce Long-Term Rejection

Who can take part

  • You are scheduled for liver transplant surgery at Stanford University
  • You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding
  • You have not been treated for cancer (except non-melanoma skin cancer that is cured), or have active cancer
  • You do not have hepatitis B or untreated hepatitis C
  • You are not on dialysis and have not received another organ transplant
  • You are able to attend follow-up visits and agree to liver biopsies (small tissue samples)
