Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have been taking at least 3 different blood pressure medicines at the same doses for at least 4 weeks.
- Your systolic blood pressure (top number) is between 140 and 179 mmHg.
- You have not had a stroke, heart attack, or unstable angina in the past year.
- You do not have secondary hypertension (high blood pressure caused by another condition).
- You are not on dialysis and do not have type 1 diabetes.
