Who can take part

  • Diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (behavioral, language, or speech variant) with brain imaging showing shrinkage in the front or side of the brain
  • Age 30–80 years old
  • Have a study partner (family member or caregiver) who visits at least 3 hours daily and can help manage study medication
  • Mild to moderate memory and thinking changes (specific test scores required)
  • Any brain or behavior medications must be stable for at least 30 days before starting
  • Not pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding during the study
