Who can take part
- Age 18–65 years old
- Confirmed rheumatoid arthritis diagnosis with positive blood tests (RF or anti-CCP antibody)
- Active disease with swollen and tender joints plus elevated inflammation markers, despite being on methotrexate or similar medications for at least 3 months
- Willing to continue current arthritis medications at stable doses throughout the study
- No biologic drugs or targeted small-molecule drugs in the past 6 months
- No oral steroids or steroid injections in the past month; able to avoid other complementary treatments (acupuncture, massage) during the study
