Who can take part
- You are between 4 and 75 years old
- You have focal or generalized seizures that haven't been controlled by at least two different anti-seizure medications tried at adequate doses
- You have at least 4 seizures per month on average over the past 90 days
- Your current anti-seizure medications have been stable (same dose) for at least 30 days
- You are physically healthy enough to have surgery to place the implant
- Your vagus nerve (in your neck) is healthy and suitable for the implant
