EASEE® system study for drug-resistant epilepsy

Drug-Resistant Focal Epilepsy

This trial tests a new device called EASEE® that may help reduce seizures in adults with drug-resistant focal epilepsy. It is for people who still have at least four observable seizures a month despite taking medication.

Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with focal epilepsy that does not respond well to medication.
  • You have at least four seizures a month that can be seen by someone else.
  • Your epilepsy medication has been stable (no major changes recently).
  • You do not have non-epileptic seizures or active generalized epilepsy.
  • You are not pregnant and do not have a brain stimulation device or active vagus nerve stimulator.
