Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You have been on dialysis for at least 3 months
- You have a high PTH level (over 300), which is a sign of secondary hyperparathyroidism
- You are currently taking calcitriol and can stop it for 40 hours before the trial
- You do not have severe liver disease or a history of vitamin D allergy
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding (if you are a woman able to become pregnant)
