Who can take part

  • Age 18–79 years old
  • Had a stroke treated with clot-busting or clot-removal procedures
  • Developed bleeding in the brain (confirmed by CT scan) after stroke treatment, with signs of neurological worsening
  • Bleeding volume is 20–80 mL (measured on CT) and not rapidly expanding
  • Blood clotting levels have been corrected to safe ranges before surgery
  • Can undergo robot-assisted minimally invasive brain surgery within 24 hours of diagnosis
