Who can take part

  • Age 21–70 years old
  • Spinal cord injury between the neck (C4) and mid-back (T12) area
  • At least 1 year since your spinal cord injury occurred
  • Able to move your arms well enough to pedal an arm cycle
  • No open pressure wounds (bedsores) on your buttocks or feet
  • No uncontrolled heart disease, diabetes, or bone-weakening conditions that would make exercise unsafe
