Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You had one stroke at least 6 months ago
  • You have weakness on one side of your body from the stroke
  • You have shoulder X-rays and bone density scans from within 6 months after your stroke
  • You have never had shoulder surgery or a broken upper arm bone
  • You do not have other bone or metabolic diseases, cancer history, or long-term steroid use
