Who can take part
- You are 19 years or older.
- You have sudden hearing loss in one ear (moderate or worse).
- You will take methylprednisolone 48 mg once daily in the morning.
- You have type 2 diabetes, or prediabetes (HbA1c 5.7-10.0%), or high blood sugar before starting steroids.
- If you use insulin now, your total daily dose is 30 units or less.
