Who can take part
- You are 6 to 17 years old and weigh at least 20 kilograms (about 44 pounds).
- You have a superficial venous malformation that has had clots inside it (seen on imaging as small calcium deposits).
- You have had at least 2 painful clotting episodes in the past year.
- You are not currently taking blood thinners (like aspirin, warfarin, or other NSAIDs) and have no bleeding problems.
- If you are a young woman who could become pregnant, you must use reliable birth control.
