  • You are 18 years old or older
  • You are admitted to a neuro-ICU or trauma unit
  • You need nursing care that requires lying flat on your back
  • You have a tube (arterial line) that checks your blood pressure continuously
  • You have a tube (central line) that measures pressure in your chest veins
  • You have either a drain from the brain or a sensor that measures pressure inside your skull
