- You are at least 19 years old.
- You have heart failure with a low ejection fraction (under 45%), meaning your heart's main pumping chamber is weak.
- You have a leaky tricuspid valve (moderate or worse), which affects blood flow in the right side of your heart.
- You have signs of higher heart strain, like a high NT-proBNP level, or you recently had worsening heart failure that required treatment in the hospital or with IV diuretics.
