Who can take part
- You are 19 years or older.
- Your heart's right ventricle is weak, confirmed by an EKG or MRI.
- You have chronic heart failure with a pumping strength (ejection fraction) below 45%.
- You have been on standard heart failure treatment for at least 4 weeks.
- You have high NT-proBNP levels (a sign of heart strain) or have recently needed treatment for worsening heart failure.
- You have at least moderate tricuspid regurgitation (leaky right heart valve).
- You have not taken vericiguat in the last 6 months.
- Your systolic blood pressure is 100 mmHg or higher.
- You are not currently taking other similar heart medications (like sildenafil or riociguat).
- Your right ventricle failure does not require surgery.
- You are not pregnant and are not of childbearing potential without using birth control.
