Anti-thymocyte globulin for type 1 diabetes

Who can take part

  • You are 5 to 40 years old.
  • Your type 1 diabetes was diagnosed within the last 2 years.
  • You still make some insulin (C-peptide level above 0.2 nmol/L).
  • You test positive for at least one type 1 diabetes-related autoantibody (GAD65, IA-2, ZnT8, or insulin).
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you agree to use birth control if needed.
  • You have not taken certain immune-modifying drugs or participated in other drug trials recently.
