Who can take part

  • You have primary aldosteronism, confirmed by specific blood tests.
  • Your systolic blood pressure (the top number) is between 140 and 190 mmHg, or you are already on blood pressure medication.
  • You have at least one sign of increased heart or blood vessel risk, such as a past heart attack, stroke, or certain risk factors like diabetes or smoking.
  • You are not planning to have surgery for your adrenal condition.
  • You have not had a heart attack, stroke, or heart procedure in the last 3 months.
