Who can take part
- You must be between 18 and 75 years old.
- You must have a diagnosis of ALS that started within the last 2 years.
- You need to be able to perform breathing tests and have a breathing capacity of at least 60% of what is expected for your age and height.
- You must be willing to travel to the study site, undergo MRI scans, spinal taps, and blood draws.
- You should not have a SOD1 or FUS gene mutation, and cannot have had gene therapy, stem cell therapy, or certain other experimental treatments before.
