Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 60 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with bipolar I disorder and are currently in a depressive episode.
- You are taking a mood stabilizer (lithium or valproate) and have been on the same dose for at least 2 weeks.
- You are not currently in a manic or mixed episode, and you do not have rapid cycling bipolar disorder.
- You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or at risk of harming yourself.
