Prostate Cancer (Localized), Urinary Incontinence (C61)

Who can take part

  • You are expected to live at least 10 more years based on your overall health.
  • You have not had any prior treatment for prostate problems, like laser surgery, TURP, or focal therapy.
  • You have never had radiation to your pelvis or prostate, or had major surgery in your belly or rectum.
  • You have not had a stroke or a brain event that caused lasting symptoms, and you don't have a neurological disease like Parkinson's.
  • Your PSA level is 15 or lower, your prostate is 80 mL or smaller, and your biopsy shows a low or intermediate cancer grade (ISUP 1, 2, or 3).
  • Your biopsy had at least 12 samples taken from both sides of the prostate, and you have had an MRI if your cancer grade is 3+4 or higher.
