Who can take part
- You must be 18 or older and have been diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) or small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL).
- Your CLL/SLL must be causing symptoms or signs that need treatment, such as very low blood counts, an enlarged spleen or lymph nodes, or night sweats and weight loss.
- You must be feeling well enough to carry out daily activities (performance status score of 2 or less).
- Your heart, liver, and kidney function must be within acceptable limits.
- You must be willing to use effective birth control during the study and for at least 4 weeks after treatment.
- You must not have had any prior treatment for CLL/SLL.
