Who can take part

  • You must be 18 or older and have been newly diagnosed with CLL or SLL.
  • You need to have at least one sign that treatment is needed, such as anemia, low platelets, big lymph nodes, or symptoms like weight loss or fever.
  • You cannot have had any prior treatment for CLL/SLL (this is the first treatment).
  • Your organs, especially liver and kidneys, must be working well enough (within specific blood test limits).
  • You must be willing to use effective birth control during and for 4 weeks after the study.
  • You cannot have other serious health conditions like uncontrolled infections, heart problems, or a history of certain cancers.
