Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 80 years old.
- You have head and neck cancer (not in the nasopharynx) that cannot be fully removed with surgery, or you choose not to have surgery.
- Your cancer has not spread too far, and you are generally able to do your daily activities (ECOG 0 or 1).
- Your blood counts, liver, kidney, and clotting tests meet minimum levels.
- You have not had other cancers (except certain early-stage curable types) in the last 5 years.
- You agree to use reliable birth control during the study and for 2 months after the last dose.
