Who can take part

  • You must be 18 or older.
  • Your breast cancer must be HER2-positive and hormone receptor-positive (ER+ and/or PR+), and it must be advanced or spread (metastatic) and cannot be removed with surgery.
  • You cannot have had any chemotherapy or HER2-targeted therapy for advanced or metastatic breast cancer before joining.
  • If you had early-stage breast cancer treatment (like chemo or HER2 therapy), it must have been more than 6 months ago before your cancer came back as advanced.
  • You must be in good enough physical condition to have a performance status of 0 or 1 (able to do daily activities).
  • You must have at least one tumor that can be measured on scans, or only bone disease that can be followed.
