Who can take part

  • You must be an unpaid (informal) caregiver, like a family member or friend, who is at least 18 years old.
  • You must be the main caregiver for a person with advanced heart or lung disease who is receiving palliative care at Toronto General Hospital.
  • You should not have a medical condition that makes moderate exercise unsafe (for example, unstable heart disease or a recent injury).
  • You must be able to understand English or have a translator available, and you need a phone or internet connection to join virtual sessions.
