Who can take part
- You are 18 or older
- You have had a single stroke (not multiple strokes) that affected one side of your brain
- You still have some difficulty moving your arm or hand on the affected side
- Your arm muscles are not extremely tight (score less than 3 on the Modified Ashworth Scale)
- You have normal or near-normal thinking and memory skills (score above 24 on a common memory test)
- You are medically stable and able to take part in an intensive rehab program
