Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have depression that hasn't gotten better after trying at least two antidepressants and one type of talk therapy.
  • You currently have significant depression symptoms (like low mood, loss of interest, etc.).
  • You do not have a current problem with drugs or alcohol, and can stop drinking alcohol for 24 hours before and after treatment.
  • You are not currently at risk of harming yourself or others.
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or undergoing IVF treatment, and you have a healthy bladder and liver.
