Who can take part

  • You are between 21 and 45 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with major depressive disorder and your current episode has lasted at least 4 weeks.
  • You have tried at least two different antidepressants for at least 6 weeks each without getting better (treatment-resistant depression).
  • You are on a stable dose of your current medications (antidepressants, mood stabilizers, etc.) for at least 4 weeks before the study starts.
  • You have not taken ketamine or esketamine before.
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant during the study.
