- You are between 21 and 45 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with major depressive disorder and your current episode has lasted at least 4 weeks.

- You are on a stable dose of your current medications (antidepressants, mood stabilizers, etc.) for at least 4 weeks before the study starts.
- You have not taken ketamine or esketamine before.
- You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant during the study.
