Who can take part
- You must have NF2 (neurofibromatosis type 2) as confirmed by a genetic test or medical criteria.
- You must have at least one tumor (vestibular schwannoma) that is at least 3 mm in size and has shown growth or caused symptoms in the last 3 years.
- Your hearing on the side of the tumor must be moderate (word recognition score between 50% and 88%).
- Your tumor should not be amenable to surgery (either high surgical risk or you chose not to have surgery).
- You must be at least 3 years old and in reasonably good health (performance status score of 70 or higher).
