  • You are between 18 and 65 years old
  • You are in the ICU for a brain-related problem like bleeding, tumor, or stroke
  • You or a family member can give permission to join
  • You are not pregnant and do not have severe obesity (BMI under 40)
  • You do not have a muscle or nerve disease, a leg amputation, or a recent thigh injury
