Who can take part

  • You must be between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You must have a diagnosis of systemic lupus erythematosus (lupus) that is stable and not causing serious organ problems.
  • You should be experiencing ongoing fatigue or muscle pain that affects your daily life.
  • Your current lupus medications and prednisone dose (5 mg or less per day) must have been stable for at least 8 weeks.
  • You must be able to safely participate in a moderate exercise program at home.
  • You cannot be pregnant, have severe anemia, or have certain other health conditions that would make exercise unsafe.
