Who can take part

  • You are 22 or older.
  • You have tried a CPAP or mouth device and it didn't work, or you can't or don't want to use it.
  • You have moderate to severe sleep apnea, measured by a sleep study (AHI of 15 or higher, with specific weight limits).
  • You are willing to have the procedure, fill out questionnaires, and come back for follow-up visits and sleep studies.
  • You can give informed consent and are not pregnant (or you use birth control if you could become pregnant).
