Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (any common type like relapsing-remitting, primary progressive, or secondary progressive).
  • You have hip weakness on one or both sides (your doctor checks this with a manual muscle test).
  • You can walk at least 30 meters (about the length of a basketball court) without stopping or needing physical help from another person.
  • Your waist is between 26 and 48 inches, your height is between 5 feet and 6 feet 2 inches, and your weight is between 100 and 230 pounds.
