Using a new imaging test to find blood clots in the lungs

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have been diagnosed with a new blood clot in your lungs (acute pulmonary embolism) or are being checked for one.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You do not have a permanent implant like a pacemaker or defibrillator, and your chest skin is healthy enough to wear a special belt.
  • You are not currently in another clinical trial (if joining the part of the study that looks forward in time).
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is under 50 (if you are joining the part of the study that looks forward in time).
