This study tests whether a special breathing exercise (inspiratory muscle training) can help people who had a stroke more than 6 months ago walk better. You will do breathing exercises while also working on your walking, to see if it improves your speed and balance.

Who can take part

  • You are between 55 and 65 years old.
  • You had a stroke at least 6 months ago and can walk on your own for at least 10 meters (with or without a cane or walker).
  • Your walking speed is moderately slow (about 0.4 to 0.8 meters per second).
  • You do not have serious heart, lung, or metabolic conditions, and you haven't had chest or belly surgery in the last 6 months.
  • You can understand instructions and are willing to join the study.
