Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • You had a brain bleed (not caused by an injury or other medical procedure) that was seen on a CT scan within 24 hours of symptoms starting.
  • Before the bleed, you were able to do daily activities mostly on your own (like walking, dressing, bathing).
  • Doctors did not decide to limit life-saving treatments (like a breathing tube) in the first 24 hours after the bleed.
  • You or a family member can sign a consent form to join the study.
